Learning Objective: Students will analyze historical documents to understand how people in the 14th century interpreted the origins, spread, and impact of the Black Death. Through examination of primary sources and guided discussions, students will identify and compare different contemporary explanations and responses to the pandemic, ultimately gaining insight into medieval perspectives and the broader historical context of the plague.
