Activity: Write a concise summary highlighting the main ideas.
Guided Practice: Using the same passage, fill out the HIPPO analysis template.
With a partner:
Activity: Choose a different passage from "The Prince" provided here. In pairs or small groups, analyze the passage using the HIPPO framework. Create a HIPPO statement and share it with your group or the class for discussion.
Independent Practice:
Activity: Read "Education of a Christian Prince," by Erasmus on page 345 of your textbook, summarize it, and create a HIPPO statement independently. Submit your summary and HIPPO statement for feedback.
